Wow. This place exceeds expectations everywhere. The food is absolutely off the charts delicious! My friend & I sat at the bar Saturday night and had an unforgettable experience with our fantastic bartender, Steve. This man knows his whiskey. Story-telling-Steve blessed us with some of his incredible liquor knowledge tales...we were so captivated by this certified badass, that we will returning next week for more! 11/10 recommend

What a great place to belly up to the bar and get some good brew and food at. The atmosphere is a little dark, but in the best cozy kind of way that makes the setting seem more intimate and not like a dungeon. The wood paneling and dark accents really make this place stand out as something FANCY enough, but not gaudy. It's got a decent amount of seating, though people were waiting as I came at the head of a late lunch rush. The food speaks for itself from the plates as servers are bringing it to their new homes, fragrance almost jumping off the plate atchya. My Oysters were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, sorry not sorry for the caps lock, as they were THAT good and I needed to convey that somehow. As a seafood lover and foodie, these were hands down the freshest, tastiest, and most reasonably priced sea boogers I've ever had! My potato skins were hefty, sweet and savory, and the perfect comfort food for the grey and chilly day I had come in for. I opted for a Non-Alcoholic beer which they had in a can and ready to pour, which went great with my potato dish. The staff was prompt and offered services and suggestions with a smile. I think it was Rosie who helped me out and she was an dream attending to my needs super well even while getting thrown into a rush. She should get a bonus or I least hope she ia compensated well, watching Wonder woman work over here. The Bathrooms, floors, and behind the bar were really clean and the cutlery seemed to be washed well so I know they're doing their cleaning duties well there. The menu has so many items that caught my eye I cannot wait to go back and try some more! Definitely go here for a tasty bite and you won't regret it!

Charred Oak Tavern exceeded our expectations! Great steak and one of the best Prime Rib entrees I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and classy.

We’ve been here a few times now and the food is awesome every time. We usually sit at the bar since the bartenders are so great. I tried the risotto last time we went and it’s my new favorite.

Love this place! We started with the lamb pops, the fried pickles and the candied bacon. The pops and the bacon were amazing. As for the fried pickles, I'd say they were lacking in the pickle department, the breading, while good, overpowered the pickles. We all got some whiskey to try, I made my own flight and my 2 friends got single pours. I don't know anywhere else that one can choose from that many different options, it's great! Entrees ended up being the waygu burger and the Mac and cheese. Neither disappointed. Needless to say, we will be going back!

I had a fantastic experience at The Charred Oak Tavern! I ordered the filet mignon, and although it didn’t arrive exactly as I had requested at first, the situation was handled perfectly. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional—he immediately took care of it and made sure the dish came back just right. The filet was tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly to my liking the second time around—absolutely worth the wait. The cocktails were equally impressive, and I have to mention the bacon presentation—such a creative touch having it hanging like that! Not only was it visually fun and unique, but it was also delicious with a rich, smoky flavor that paired perfectly with the drinks. Overall, the vibe, service, and quality of food made for a really enjoyable night. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!

Stopped by Charred Oak Tavern for the first time. Fantastic overall experience. Good selection of draft beers, went with a Harper Lane Knuckle Buster. They had their award winning Seafood Bisque on special. Gave it a try and thought it was great. Good amount of scallops and lobster. Tried the Charred Oak Burger and upgraded to the truffle fries. Make sure you ask for the garlic aioli to dip the fries. Well worth the upcharge. Had the burger cooked medium and it was fantastic. Burger alone was worth the drive. Plenty of parking behind the building.
